The Marketing Coordinator is an integral role in Mindsight’s overall marketing and events strategy. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting the Mindsight brand and our thought leadership via events that are held throughout the year to a defined list of 200-300 Chicago-area companies. Your target audience will primarily include CIOs, VP’s of IT and Director’s of IT.

Specifically, you will be reaching out via the phone regularly to a defined universe of IT leaders, and will also leverage email, social and other channels to support your calling efforts with the objective of driving IT professionals to Mindsight events – which are held at least monthly.

You will be expected to make a minimum of 15-20 calls per hour. For each event you are promoting, you will be expected to achieve a minimum of 10 attendees per event. Given the importance of your role, it will also be critical that you attend the events to further nurture relationships with your audiences. Over time, your consistent and persistent outreach will help build the Mindsight brand, our credibility and trust in our brand so that when a need arises, Mindsight is part of a prospective clients’ consideration.

We pride ourselves in developing and delivering thought provoking, relevant events that help our clients and prospective clients solve technology challenges. Topics will vary month to month.   Although this role does not require technical knowledge, we will provide training on Mindsight services and solutions, and for each event that you will be promoting, we will provide messaging and training to ensure you are confident in speaking about the event topics. We will take every step to ensure you are successful in your role.

This is a part-time role, up to 30 hours per week.

Your working hours will be between 8:00AM-5:30 PM; scheduled with your manager. Work hours maybe adjusted based on work load and campaign requirements.



While the ideal candidate has a natural curiosity and aptitude around technology, deep technical knowledge is absolutely not a requirement.

Bachelor Degree, or 5 years of professional work experience

Experience in a job position that requires significant interpersonal communication

Outreach experience preferred, but not required

Part-time candidates must be able to commit to 20 hours per week, with an option for fewer hours over the summer and holidays
